Coaching Philosophy
Amendment - first month we will meet once per week.
Life and Business coaching / partnerships.
We are coming together in 1 of 3 business's. Our goal is to bring you to a new level in life and business.
Your habits of thinking drive your current feelings, emotions, behavior, actions, and ultimately the results you are creating in your life. This coaching program aims to put you firmly on the path to becoming the master of your habits—the secret to a successful life and business. During this process, your coach will work with you in identifying what you want in your life (your dreams) and the kinds of thoughts and actions (goals) required to “turn your dreams into reality.”
We will identify habits that are supporting your efforts and show you how to maximize these strengths. We will also identify habits that are currently sabotaging your efforts and arm you with the principles, tools, and techniques needed to overcome these challenges. We will also identify unique habits of thinking that are much like fully charged firehouses that require careful and methodical management and will provide the practices for doing so.
This coaching engagement will help you—
- Clearly understand the relationship between YOU and your habits of thinking and how to become more aware of how these habits may have been running your life.
- Discover that YOU can choose to maximize, replace, and/or manage these habits of thinking and provide you with the principles, practices and processes for doing so.
- Assist you in recognizing Pivotal Moments™ throughout your day when YOU can choose to be in control of your habits of thinking versus letting your habits control your life, and in time create new thinking habits.
Expectations
- To be rigorous, courageous, and honest in your self-exploration and your communications with your Coach.
- To be committed to personal growth, willing to undertake the practices prescribed as part of your self-development and other actions that may be needed to create your desired results.
- To provide your Coach with ongoing feedback regarding the value you are receiving from the coaching.
- To take ownership and responsibility for your progress and accomplishments and be fully accountable and responsible for your circumstances, choices, and actions.
Boundaries
You are not required to share anything about your Self that you are not comfortable discussing. However, withholding information about important thoughts or experiences could limit your coach’s effectiveness in helping you explore your options.
Likewise, your Coach may limit discussions to areas that he/she is comfortable discussing and any such imposed limitations may not be construed as failure to perform. Such areas may include, but are not limited. to; sexual conduct, illegal activities, psychological disorders, medical conditions, or areas more appropriately handled by a psychologist or therapist.
The Coaching relationship is a professional relationship and must adhere to certain ethical guidelines. These ethical guidelines are published by the International Coach Federation and will be provided for you at your request. In addition to the above issues, you and/or your coach may choose to establish other boundaries to create an effective and comfortable working relationship.
Confidentiality
The coaching relationship is not a legally protected relationship. A coach may be compelled by subpoena to provide and/or testify about discussions and records regarding a client. Furthermore, should the client reveal information the coach feels should be reported to appropriate authorities (such as, but not limited to, information about a criminal conspiracy or activity, or an intent to harm yourself or others) it is within the coach’s right to report such information and its source to authorities at the coach’s discretion.
Conversely, your coach knows that confidential personal and/or business information may be discussed during the coaching process. The above notwithstanding, your coach agrees to keep and maintain such information confidential and not to disclose or use any information about you without your prior written consent unless ordered to do so by a Court of Law with the authority to subpoena such information.
Duration and Investment
The duration for a standard coaching engagement is based on the completion of 12 formal coaching sessions and appropriate levels of support in between sessions. Overall duration is determined by the frequency of these sessions. You will determine with your coach an appropriate rhythm that most commonly involves either a weekly or bi-weekly frequency for sessions.
As an “engagement” this is not just an investment in coaching sessions. I will commit to being reasonably available to you in between sessions via text, messenger, email, or phone.
Any amendments or additions to your agreement will be listed below in “Engagement Summary.”
Guarantee:
Our Performance Guarantee policy states that we absolutely guarantee you will experience a benefit through our coaching process as long as you do the work and complete the process. If upon completion you feel that you have not benefited, then we will work with you at no additional charge until you do. Your coach will guide and support you in the process of mastering your thoughts, but ultimately the choice to be master of your thoughts rests solely with you. You enter into the coaching relationship with the understanding that YOU are responsible for doing the work necessary for creating your own results.
